Jeniene Raisch, founder of Bilancia Pilates Studio, has had a passion for movement and exercise since an early age. As an athlete growing up, Jeniene connected with Pilates because of the strength, stamina, and flexibility that it promotes. Jeniene holds her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Body Arts and Science International ™ (BASI), where she studied Pilates under Master-teacher trainer Rael Isacowitz. Jeniene graduated from Cal State University, Northridge, with a B.A. degree in Business and is currently a member with the Pilates Method of Alliance (PMA). With a background as an athlete, Jeniene brings to her teaching, an athletic approach to Pilates, commitment to her clients, and dedication to continuing Pilates education. She strives to positively change lives through movement and encourages everyone to find their strongest and healthiest self at any age. When Jeniene is not at the studio reforming bodies, she devotes her time to her husband Rob, family, and her dog Penny.

Kim Harries, holds a degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement. A true fitness enthusiast, Kim is trained as a Body Arts and Science International Pilates instructor, a certified personal trainer and a Barre instructor. Using her large breadth of knowledge, it is Kim’s focus to help her clients reach their health and fitness goals. She has been a Santa Ynez Valley resident for 10 years and also runs a hunter/jumper show barn where she trains horses and riders for equestrian competition.

Kristine Linfoot, was introduced to Pilates after years of struggling with back and neck pain. Pilates totally changed how she lived and felt in her body. She fell in love with the ability to calm and focus her mind and connect in a more balanced way with her body. Kristine went on to become a certified Body Arts and Science (BASI) instructor in 2008. As an instructor, Kristine is known for her innate patience, compassion and attention to detail. She enjoys encouraging students through their personal exploration of Pilates, using the heightened sense of body awareness to promote longevity and vitality through their lifetime. Kristine’s love for teaching and her range of instruction, practice and skills makes her a well rounded and fun instructor.

Andrea Turnbull, grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley. After graduating from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School she attended the University of Georgia on a women’s equestrian athletic scholarship. It was at UGA she became a two-time NCAA Champion in Women’s Equestrian and was introduced to Pilates. Pilates and strength training were a part of the equestrian team’s training and Andrea found that the precision and focus of core balance in Pilates was extremely beneficial to her riding. Pilates has changed her body, improved her riding abilities immensely and strengthened her mind-body connection. Andrea studied Pilates through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) in Santa Barbara. Her goal an an instructor is to share her love of Pilates with her clients and to help improve their quality of movement by bringing awareness and instilling confidence.

Hannah Hartman, moved to the Santa Ynez Valley at the end of 2016 from Austin, TX where she was first introduced to Pilates. She has been a Yoga Instructor since 2013 and completed her Body Arts and Science (BASI) instructor training July 2018. Hannah finds her foundation in yoga has really complimented the precision, focus and detailed movements of Pilates. As a Colorado Native and transplant to Hawaii, Texas and now settling in California, Hannah brings a variety of experiences into her teaching and loves to continue her education and understanding of the human anatomy and movement. Her goal as an instructor is to help clients bring a more mindful awareness into their movement and find a practice that will stay with them throughout their lives.
